ICERT in TESL |
 |
Is TESL for me?
Here are a few reasons for
taking the TESL program and becoming an ESL teacher
- English is the fastest growing language in the world
and as the world gets smaller through the use of technology, English
becomes ever more important for international communication.
- There are hundreds of jobs waiting for you in Vancouver
alone and thousands more waiting for you abroad as soon as you
obtain TESL certification.
- ESL teachers are well paid and well respected professionals
that are always in demand, wherever they may be.
- If you decide to travel, it is the single greatest
investment you can make. You can literally teach your way around the
world for the rest of your life.
- Teaching English to international students is one
of the most exciting and rewarding experiences of your life. You
will
not only learn about other cultures, but will have the privilege
to
teach others about your culture and your language.
