The CELTA

The CELTA - Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults - is quite simply the most widely recognized English language teaching certificate.
The CELTA training qualification offered by IH Career College is awarded by Cambridge ESOL and opens doors to good English language teaching jobs around the world.

The CELTA is an introductory course, originally designed for people with little or no previous English language teaching experience. However, it is also beneficial for experienced teachers who have never attained a recognized teaching qualification.

The CELTA certificate is a great step in obtaining a teaching position at good schools around the world. Employers regard the certificate highly as it is known to provide a strong basis from which to develop as a teacher of English.

Registration Process

1. Complete the Online or PDF Application form.

2. The Head of our CELTA training will contact you to arrange the pre-course interview. (can be done in person or over the phone or Skype) and the registration fee can be paid (if not already)

3. The remaining fees ($2,345) are due at least two weeks before the course begins to confirm your space. This can be paid by Paypal or cheque or in person at the college.

As space is limited on our courses (the maximum ratios of trainees to teacher trainers is 6:1) we recommend registering as early as possible.
Your registration fee is transferrable to other start dates.
